It Seems Familiar....

In a dream, I'm here again. But where is this place? It seems familiar...
The air is cold, the room quiet with slight rays of sun from a window. Furniture is placed around. There's a coffee table in the corner, and a magazine on it, yet it has no cover and no words. An desk on the opposite end, one of dark oak. It seems like reality, but is it?
The lights have gone dim and suddenly the walls around collapse. A ray of stars appear over my head. It's beautiful; so beautiful that I fall to my knees, not caring if anyone saw my stumble. If anyone was here.
A gust of warm air then fills the room and the floorboards disappear into freshly cut grass. Then you arrive and we lay under the stars gazing up at the nebula's. Gazing at a marvel. Then you get up and walk away, I say softly where are you going, you turn around and you only respond with a wave. Before you turn around though I say that I'm on my way just wait.
Suddenly I'm awake, laying on my side as I always do. I then jolt up and look to my right thinking someone was there, standing, right in front of me as if they were watching me sleep. I feel a chill go threw my spine, but ignore it and fall back on my pillow and go back to sleep.

Someday...

Someday I'll wish upon a star, and wish as hard as I can that I can take you here. All of you here. Can you imagine it? Us walking along the soft sands as the sun sets and the stars come out. Laughing, talking, living. It's a paradise...

LADY GAGA

Gaga 2008
Gaga Today

So today I was compared to Lady Gaga, should I be honored or disgusted? I mean for the longest time I listened to her music nonstop. I know weird, but to me she was an inspiration! I don't know if you like her or not, and if you don't then don't bother reading on, but in my opinion when Lady Gaga first came out, she was far different than other artists. Yeah she's a freak, the fact that she would wear a different wig to every event and bled in front of millions on national television. (but that's what really hooked me, that she would die for the love of her fans) She performed music not from her voice like so many artists do, but from her soul. And I am still captivated today at some of her performances.
But here's the thing, Lady Gaga as incredible as she is, has become the victim to The Fame (Which is ironic): The psychological inducing drug that breaks and demoralizes a person. It's seen with many artists: Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse. It's just sad, cause these people were really good people with really amazing talents. And I can see that Lady Gaga may be headed in that direction with what she does today. Like her though I guess, I've moved on. She'll have a place in my heart and I will continue to dance when her song Bad Romance comes on at dances, but you see I've found someone much more beautiful and much more incredible.

She too is blonde. :)

The Radio

Reasons why I would rather take my iPod then the radio.

1. The radio can be more static than dry skin in blankets.

Dos. The radio plays one song for every 50 commercials.

three. The radio can play some pretty pathetic music.

4. iPod's are much more customizable, ex) the playlist!

4 1/2. Radios aren't that customizable, unless you're the DJ guy, but then it's just your job to screw the daytime music of our lives.

5. I own the Radio, it's called YouTube or playlist.com ;)

SIX! Radio talk shows annoy me, but at times I admit they can be quite entertaining.

7. Ignore #6, and let's look at the real picture...

8!! Which one looks easier to carry!?

9. Unless you really really love the Radio cause you're a hippie or some kind of Luddite, then you should just stick with the iPod cause guess what? It has the radio on it. HA!

Also, It was 52.

Also to add to that. I want to inform you that at 7am in Salt Lake City it was 52 degrees. 52 DEGREES! WTH? It's the middle of winter and it felt like spring was tomorrow. Right now it dropped to 46 degrees and is raining. Still, rain in the middle of winter. Odd. Yep well peace for today.

I love Saturdays. Even though I woke up today at like 5:45 am, I still love Saturdays. And I don't think I'll ever loose that love. Hope you have a great Saturday. :)

1. Bananas, oranges, and some other fruits make my tongue itch.

2. I was asked my favorite color the other day and I guess it's black. (Not to be racially discriminant)

3. I believe in ghosts...

4. My first phone was an iPhone. I thought I was too spoiled to have it so I traded it for a LG xenon. I miss that phone.

5. I like getting my haircut.

6. I might have an older sister I don't even know about. Who knows.

7. I dislike chewing gum. Bad encounters with it as a child.

8. My number one played song on iTunes right now is Sparks Fly :)

9. I crack my knuckles way too much.

10. I've got at least 10 pairs of shades. I'm a Californian I guess?

11. I'll give you a hug anytime you need one. Even if you're a bum. :]

Macs (Eww Not McDonald's)

After working on Macs for months for classes like yearbook or photography, when you switch from those shiny, fast baby's and go to dull, slow, colorless PC's your day begins to suck. In my opinion, I don't know if that matters, but I think that every single individual should be given a type of iPad or iTouch the moment they enter high school so that they aren't freaking over little things like missing assignments or the ACT tests.
A Mac world would be like a utopia, and no not Macs like McDonald's fattening foods, eww gross! I don't want a world like Wall-E where you can't even see your own limbs from all the fat rolls in your neck, I want a world that's hip with technology! And I still want free Wi-Fi to be distributed throughout the skies.
Nuff said. How's your day?

New Semester

Designed shoes addressed to no one in particular. Ha

New semester means, well for me new classes. Today I walked into weight lifting and all I can say is, wow. There are some interesting people out there, I'm just glad I have Dani in that class with me to survive. It's sad that she and me are like alone at lunch. Maybe that will change with the magic of faith and socialization. And in computer technology, a class that I don't even know why anyone born in the latter end of the 20th century should take, I was... alone. How terrifying! This new semester I can tell is gonna be pretty long, and I hope I can make it. BTW I found it odd that not only are there a thousand stoned kids who hang around at second lunch, but that they all apparently like to dance when stoned. Who knew!

A Different Dimension

This morning I woke up to a whole new world. No not Aladdin playing on the radio, I mean the one outside my bedroom window. It had snowed! I then got a text from my good friend Steven to come and take pictures of "snow snakes". Sadly I didn't get any snow snakes on footage while on this new planet. But I got some other good shtuff cause... Wind + Snow = AWESOME patterns it created made it look like a different dimension. Here's some pics!

While out I discovered some alien lifeforms! Don't look quite fascinated.
Oh no, one of them has spotted me.
No! D: Now they are retreating back to the mother-ship!... Oh well :]

Auto Expo

Yesteday I spent the day going to the Auto Show with my Dad. It was really fun because not only did I get a new and free keychain from the Scion section to match with my car, I also got to spend some quality father-son time.
These are some of my favorite cars of the show...

An Audi. Sleek. Black* New. Fresh! All great except for the goofy looking man next to the car. My face is "Please... don't touch!"

The one and only, Bumblebee! As seen in the movie Transformers.

This is the new Scion IQ. It's about half the size of my Scion XD (which I thought was small) car for about twice the price of what we paid for ours. It's cool yah.

Old. But stylish. Reminds me of the British "popo".

And then finally my two favorite cars this year were the pictured above 2012 Dodge Challenger, and the Jeep Wrangle Unlimited. If I had all the money in the world and a garage like Jay's Garage on the Tonight Show, these two would definitely be in there. :)

14

Fourteen more things that you didn't know about me, unless of course you silently stalk me which then I really hope is not the case.

1. I've never stayed up for 24 hours. (will probably regret this when parenthood comes into play)

2. My favorite Jamba Juice is Strawberries Wild with Whey protein boost! Yumm.

3. It's really hard for me to cry during a sad movie. Sorry, that's just how it is.

4. I play piano.

5. When I was little I wanted to work at McDonalds. At the time I had no idea how awful that sounded.

6. I've read the Book Of Mormon three times in my life, so far...

7. I also believe in Bad Luck. (Happy Friday the 13th!)

8. My legs rapidly shake when my mood is bad or if I'm placed in uncomfortable situations.

9. I had a pet hamster seven years ago named HipHip. I might have accidentally killed it.

10. I've recently become addicted to Wheat Thins. :O .

11. I'm from California. Yeah, tall, tan and handsome. (well tan and handsome anyway)

12. I'm partially color blind. Is this green? Or yellow?

13. I once didn't drink any type of soda beverage for about 2 years.

14. This number, as I said before, pops up everywhere! Wanna know what's freaky? Every night I always catch the clock at 9:14... the day of my birth.

Once again Happy Friday The 13th!

Tumblr.

Here's the funny thing... before I had blogger I had a tumblr. I know crazy! I didn't really like tumblr much so I deleted it. Three months later I just created another one! Haha... So we'll see how this one turns out. Just testing it for now.

Photography

 BEFORE...
AND AFTER...

I really really am liking photography! It's fun, and just... I don't know, different. I thought maybe I should be a professional, but then I don't know how good my work is. Is it really like flashy (haha camera joke) and big enough to be in newspapers or magazines? Hmmm... ?

Society Can

Society can put me into thinking. Dang Brave New World book. You know those awkward moments, the ones where you could be sitting minding your own business and then some stranger comes up to you and high fives you acting like you two do it every time you see each other. Yeah those kind of people, no offense, creep me out. I mean it's friendly I guess, but really seeing that I'm not constantly surrounded by over-friendly people it's just awkward. And I always seem to be meeting them in everywhere school, the library, the gym, a parking lot, Applebees! Let's not all be mean, but let's just know our boundaries and accept the sad truth of society. No one can really like something that they aren't use to.
On that note, I'm still on the "search". Ha...

Forever And Always

With knock off markers, 45 minute power naps, math homework, essays, practice tests, half a muffin, and singing and dancing to Taylor Swift in the middle of class life couldn't be better.

To my best friends, I promise you that I will stand by you forever and always. When the road is tough, when the stakes get high, when you're falling, and when you're having the worst day ever I will try my best to make you new again. But there is something I've learned in life, and the words by Taylor Swift better describe what what that is...

"Will you take a moment, promise me this, that you'll stand by me forever, but if God forbid fate should step in and place us into a goodbye. If you have children someday, when they point to the pictures please tell them my name... Tell them how I hope they shine. Long live the walls we crashed threw, I had the time of my life with you."

No, this isn't some goodbye to all my friends! This is a hello, I've just realized you're the best things that have come in my life! Thanks:)

1 New Notification

Just finished a satire essay for my AP English class. Hope you enjoy it, my thanks to anyone who tweeted or posted anything in my life. If you didn't know, I did end up getting a twitter, and it's alright I guess. Ha.
*Also tonight my best friend just learned I am adopted, how awkward is that. (That's just a side note for me)

1 New Notification
Did you know that there are over 800 million active users on Facebook? And over 200 million active Twitter accounts? Of these millions of users almost every single one of them has to post or tweet on almost every subject until the day they die or until the day the world ends, but even then I think we will still be tweeting over what Lady Gaga wore at the last Grammy Award show. Now, yes, that’s the point of these social sites, to express all the mind blowing facts going on in our lives, but let’s get truly acquainted with what we are and who we really look like in the social network and let’s look into our virtual personality.
Let’s first begin with the simple “Endless Exclaimer”.
These are the people whose reactions to posts or tweets involve holding down the caps lock button until it about breaks and typing in exclamations such as “WOW!” “OMG!” “I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!” and finally, saved the best for last, the “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL”. As if it wasn’t made clear that the first “LOL” didn't highlight how funny it was. They are positive and excited people, but they can be a true nuisance.
Then we have the “Creeper”.
Every single one of us is a Creeper, let’s face it whether we admit it or not it’s just the truth. The odd thing about social networks is that it was specifically designed for creepers.  Just glancing at a page that isn’t germane can get you enlisted as creeper status. Creepers silently stalk your profiles day or night and later bring up conversations with you about what you did over the weekend, as if they were there at the party. Some creepers are even “bad guys”, so just be careful out their kids!
Then the actual “Twitterpaters”.
Those of us lucky enough to have found love in our lives have now become obliged to show our unstable emotion to the entire virtual community. They will post and tweet about every love quote from cute lyrics of country love songs to passionate excerpts from 80’s movies; Twitterpaters are constantly on a love frenzy. Ewwy, gushy, lovey yuck! Twitterpaters though are not as bad as their close cousins…
Yes, the “Mood Swingers”.
Mood Swingers will post or tweet about how happy and gleeful they are one minute and the next, mope and cry over how their life is on the verge of utter despair. Just take a chill pill and relax! Basically the characteristics of an adolescent teen best describe the term of those who are emotionally unstable. It can be disturbing to see and you only wonder what is really going on in those sad bipolar lives.
And then “The Unending Updater “or the “Tweet Repetitioners”.
The kind of person who is sadly addicted to a screen with a bag of Lay’s potato chips at their side for comfort.  They will inform you about everything, literally everything, going on in their lives or in the world. They’re like the newscaster from Fox 13 who wouldn’t shut up. From the time they wake up, to eating lunch at Olive Garden, to working in the office, to getting home to when they finally fall asleep at 2 am. They’ll also retweet everything so you get the joy of seeing updates twice. Yeah, best you click the "hide all status updates" button for these guys.
In the end there are probably oh so many more types of online social networking personality traits. We could get into the rhetorics, the idolizers, the celebrities who keep the idolizers constant ,or the blogger (including myself), or even the "failed every spelling Bee mistyper". So I hope this helped you realize who you are when others see what you say online, and maybe you've even learned. Think twice about what you say, hold back on the constant craving to tweet, and refrain from further posting and actually look at yourself. Are you one of these Facebook or Twitter users? In the mean time, I have a blog to get back to.

Don't Be Scared.

Today I got home from school and was obviously bored enough to play with my camera and take pictures of me, myself, and I. I know, I should have been working on one of the two essays that I still need to finish, or doing some math homework, or studying for finals coming up. But hey, I'm a kid what are you gonna do?
So let's say I'm a black kid, and I am, but lets say that I'm a straight up G. These would be my reactions to a girl with a ponytail. Don't be scared, I can look a little mean. :P

So here is my "U r lookin so fly, u know u cute with a ponytail."

Then my "Gurl u trippin', u did not just put yo hair in a ponytail."

Then the "O my gosh!! What are u wearin' on yo head!? U look ridic-u-lous! Go fix yo hair!"

Then finally. "U know what? U r rockin' that updo"

Just so you know, right now I am just a little hyper. Haha. Little chemicals are going off in my head::)

The Snow

Finally. After weeks of waiting, it snowed. It's the first snow of the new year, and hopefully a sign that more snow is on the way. Earlier today I was oh so moody, and now am just feeling dandy! I guess that's the downfall of being an American teenager with spiraling emotions. Snow is cold. Snow is white. Snow is pure. Snow is unforgettable. Snow is still cold, and snow is beautiful. The snow that's here is just here for a while, and really that's what I need. Thanks.

Experience

It's Friday. Again. Funny how that happens. Besides being the first Friday of the year today has been pretty alright. The only significant thing that happened today was in English; we had to rewrite our own ending to a short story we read. The funny thing was that my ending was about the same as the original ending told to us later on in class. Ha, I just thought that strange. Besides that, family is doing great and most of my friends are doing fine, with one having their wisdom teeth pulled out today. :0

Sometimes...

Sometimes I wonder... like today! I can get myself into a trance that is almost hypnotic, and I get carried away with my thoughts and feelings. For instance the top things of interest on my mind are what would happen if I ever became big in the world? What will happen after I graduate and would continuing with so much schooling really benefit me? And sometimes I wonder if I can just slap some people silly in the back of the head. These thoughts of course come thanks to lack of a full rest and regular coursed meals. Haha. I am rather hungry by the way. I'm gonna go now and eat, but if you're out there even just browsing around tell me what your opinion on anything. Thanks.

Sometimes life sucks, and sometimes it's the most beautiful thing in the world.

New.

What's new? All I can really say that is new is the New Year, 2012, which should be something to look forward to. New decisions, like this morning I actually got to choose what to eat for breakfast. Amazing how that works. New clothes from Christmas I guess, which today made my day on the positive compliments I was given. New device; now homework, socializing, and gaming can go by twice as fast, the only negative effect was myself being the dumb human and not getting the right Wi-Fi password logged in. New news, heard Katy Perry is divorcing Russel Brand, Obama shtuff for his relection, Japan sadly getting hit by an earthquake on Saturday, and the ever lasting summer-weather in Utah. So what's new? Not much, what about you?
